Funding

The Africa-Europe Cluster of Research Excellence in Health, Gender, and Sexualities (CoRE HGS) is part of the joint initiative by the African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA) and The Guild of European Research-Intensive Universities (the Guild).

All universities within the CoRE offer substantial institutional support. This includes faculty time, infrastructure, and other essential assets necessary for our work.

Seed funding for the CoRE's initial activities has been made available by the University of Oslo and the University of Pretoria.

Project development funding has been secured from RELIGHT (Research Excellence and Innovation in Global Health).
